PPC Specialist

Proximity Recruitment are searching a talented PPC Specialist (up to 55,000 + Bonus) to join a thriving agency in Hertfordshire. This is a pivotal role within the agency, leading PPC efforts across Google Ads and Paid Social while helping shape the future of the PPC department.

This role will also involve leading and mentoring members of the PPC team, sharing your knowledge and helping others develop while driving strong results for clients.

As the PPC Specialist, you’ll take ownership of paid media campaigns and play a key role in delivering high-performing strategies for clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building, executing and managing PPC campaigns across Google Ads and Paid Social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X (Twitter).
  • Conducting keyword research, ad grouping and audience targeting to maximise campaign reach and performance.
  • Monitoring and optimising bids, budgets and campaign settings to deliver strong ROI.
  • Analysing campaign performance and producing clear reports with actionable insights.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to align PPC campaigns with broader client marketing strategies.
  • Staying up to date with PPC trends, tools and best practices to continually improve campaign performance.
  • Running A/B tests to refine strategies and improve results.
  • Participating in client meetings, presenting campaign results and discussing optimisation strategies.
  • Supporting and mentoring members of the PPC team to help develop their skills.
