Proximity Recruitment are searching for a talented Marketplace Manager (circa £40,000 + Benefits) for a growing international business in Leighton Buzzard. The role is work from home with the occasional office visit, perhaps once a week.
We are seeking a Marketplace Performance Manager to lead and optimize the client's presence across key online marketplaces in the UK and EU. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset and e-commerce experience, particularly Amazon. You will be responsible for driving growth, improving performance, and expanding into new platforms while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day operations for UK & EU marketplaces, including Amazon (Vendor), Ebay and TikTok Shop.
- Ensure product listings are accurate, optimised, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Optimise Pricing strategies to protect margins and the online brand.
- Manage Amazon costs, chargebacks, and profitability analysis.
- Collaborate with the advertising agency to develop and refine Amazon ad strategies.
- Develop emerging marketplaces across Europe.
- Develop business cases and lead rollout plans for new marketplace opportunities.
- Set-up listings, fulfilment routes and vendor agreements for new marketplaces.
- Deliver clear, actionable reports on marketplace performance, sales trends, and KPIs.
- Review data-driven insights to proactively improve category performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations and strategic alignment.
- Share marketplace data and insights that can assist wider marketing strategies.
