Proximity Recruitment are searching for a talented Communications Specialist to join a thriving F1 Motorsport agency in Northamptonshire. The role is circa 3 days a week in the office, 2 days working from home.
The position focuses on one of the biggest partnerships in F1 history and works closely with the wider team to deliver quality campaigns & outcomes. The successful candidate will own the communications strategy with this contract as well as supporting the MD in shaping the agency through effective & influential communications projects & strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver best-in-class media relations and services to motorsport, automotive, business, lifestyle, and influencer outlets.
- Proactively pitch and secure coverage for executives, drivers, and team representatives across local, regional, national, and international media.
- Create compelling storytelling opportunities to support business priorities; Build the Business, Build the Brand, and Technology Transfer.
- Develop and distribute press releases, race weekend recaps, and internal newsletters.
- Partner with the clients to ensure content plans, activations, and campaigns are integrated into the global master calendar.
- Coordinate cross-platform social media strategies.
- Support and execute digital storytelling around race weekends.
- Represent the client with F1 media at track, working alongside communications to manage media access, storytelling, and proactive issue management.
- Support the client's marketing and PR initiatives at track and special events.
- Coordinate executive and team senior personnel media appearances and interviews.
- Contribute to weekly strategy sessions, providing input on PR direction and marketing alignment.
- Provide reporting, analytics, and insights on PR and social performance.
